Project : 13 Brainard St Short Description: Renovation - New London Description: This is a renovation project. This project is currently in the finishing construction phase. This could involve painting, installing flooring, installing cabinets, trim work, stairs, caulking and much more. Please bring your own lunch and come in appropriate work site attire including closed toed shoes, clothes that you wouldn't mind getting damaged and the desire to make a difference. We recommend that you dress in layers to accommodate for the weather and work to be done. Bringing your own reusable water bottle and coffee cup will help us to limit the amount of waste that is created on the Build site and help the environment. The morning of your Build Day please remember to call 860-442-7890 then press 5. This will have up to date information about the build including if the day will need to be changed or canceled. Changes and cancellations can happen based on weather or unanticipated changes in construction needs Habitat loves photos of the build sites! Bring your camera, take some pictures and share them with us. You can post them to the facebook page at www.facebook.com/habitatsect or email them to volunteer@habitatsect.org Before you are permitted to begin volunteering in any capacity you must take the Foundations of Habitat Class. You may sign up for this class in the first column of the online calendar under Training, Foundations All volunteers need a signed waiver in order to volunteer. Waivers need to be signed annually.
