Project : Bedford House 8
Short Description: BEDFORD
Description: INDIVIDUAL CONSTRUCTION VOLUNTEERS:

No Construction Experience Necessary - Just a willing heart!

Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to work at the site.

All Volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver before they come on site: Waiver Form
Minors between the ages of 16 and 18 must have a parent or guardian's signature.

We also recommended that construction volunteers complete the Safety Training course: "Volunteering On A Habitat for Humanity Job Site". Safety Course

Arrive at 8:00 AM for check in and safety orientation. We will break for lunch at 12 noon and resume building until 3:00 or 3:30 pm (unless otherwise posted in your confirmations). If you can only work a partial day we ask that you come first thing in the morning and then leave early if you need to. Due to safety reasons, we ask the volunteers NOT show up in the middle of the day.

Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, wear closed toe shoes and dress weather appropriate as you will likely be working outdoors.

Volunteers should plan to bring their own sack lunch. On occasion, we have sponsors who volunteer to provide the lunch and we will notify you ahead of time if this is the case.

Habitat provides all of the tools, but you are welcome to bring your own belt if you want.

If you have questions or a group that would like to sponsor a TEAM build please contact us directly.
