Project : Retail Short Description: Volunteers Needed Tuesday- Saturday Description: Assist Habitat Home Store staff with cleaning and stocking. The Habitat Home Store is a resale store that accepts donations of new and gently used home furnishings, building supplies, and other household items. Those items are then sold to the public at a fraction of the normal retail price. Profits from the Habitat Home Store are then used to further the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County by helping build affordable houses for low-income families in need. Volunteers are a fundamental part of the success of The Habitat Home Store. Plus, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable retail experience. Habitat Home Store volunteers receive a 10% discount on purchases at the store!
