We are unable to have volunteers younger than 16 at the food bank because of covid 19. Please arrive in casual wear (closed toe shoes required - no sandals, slippers, etc.), ready to assist MADF staff with preparations and maintenance for Eloise's Cooking Pot Food Bank. If you are completing community service hours you must volunteer for a 8 hours shift. Present paperwork at the beginning of the shift. 30min deducted for lunch. No exceptions.


Food Bank responsibilities Include:

  1. Service Shift/Serving Client during Shift 3
  2. Move and sort boxes of Food
  3. Organize and stock shelves
  4. Remove and discard damaged items
  5. Accepting deliveries of food and supplies
  6. Off-loading and organizing supplies in correct locations


Driver responsibilities Include:

  1. Pick up deliveries from various locations
  2. Deliver groceries to clients
  3. Load and unload supplies

The Food Bank is open for Drive-Up and Walk-Up services only. Which are in designated areas to service the clients safely.

Please make sure you wear jeans or long pants with no holes or rips and close toe shoes.  

No sweatpants, no T-shirts with derogatory language, no gym shorts or tank tops permitted.  


Long short pants are only permitted at the food bank.
