Project : Morrisville
Short Description: Help us build on Olive St. in Morrisville!
Description: All training and tools are provided.

The workday is from 8am to 3pm.

Where do I park? Free street parking is available.

Do I bring my own lunch and drinks? Volunteers should plan to bring a bag lunch, unless participating in a Sponsored Team Build or Women Build. We also ask volunteers to bring enough water for the day.

What should I wear? Wear work/weather appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty, ripped or even ruined. Closed-toed shoes are required (work boots preferred. Please bring work gloves if you have them.

What will I be doing? While subcontractors perform licensed work, such as electrical, mechanical, and plumbing, volunteers are involved in all other areas of construction. Projects will depend on the time of year, current phase of construction and even the weather. Tasks could include framing, sheathing, house wrap, siding, insulation, flooring, caulking, hanging windows, painting, landscaping, hauling materials, recycling, general clean up, etc.

Do build days ever get cancelled? Yes, build days get cancelled due to weather conditions, subcontractor schedules, inspection delays, etc. You’ll be notified via e-mail of any cancellations or delays.

Who can I contact with further questions? Please reach out to volunteer@vermonthabitat.org with any questions.
